Wajarkah Cukai ke atas Pemilikan Kad Kredit?

Langkah kerajaan seperti ini memang telah dijangka terutama dikala ekonomi yang masih belum menentu. Jumlah hasil cukai kerajaan daripada cukai ini memang lumayan iaitu RM 550 juta. Pasti dapat menjana kewangan mapan.

Persoalannya kenapa harus dikenakan terus kepada pemilik kad yang rata-rata adalah golongan pengguna. Jelas ini dapat memberi hasil daripada cukai berganda kepada kerajaan. Pertama dari cukai perniagaan perbankan dan satu lagi dari cukai pemilkan kad kredit ini. Langkah bijak kerajaan mendapatkan hasil.

Yang pasti, pengguna juga yang terbeban.

Swine Flu : It’s nearer and nearer…

Yup….Last week alone Malaysia has reported additional 40 cases (about 400%) of the previous week’s total. 4 schools are now closed for a duration of one week in order to minimise risks of the virus spreading out further.

Haze : It’s part of the weather….

Yup….we can include haze into our weather forecast alongwith sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy…..

Or we can put into the season category like monsoon season, drought season….

Having said that, it’s not the kind of weather I’m looking forward to. Hate it!

H1N1/Swine Flu : Now a pandemic

Malaysia has declared it’s 12th confirmed case yesterday. Again it’s an ‘imported’ case.

As the world is moving, there is no clear sign that this pandemic will end anytime soon. In Southeast Asia alone, Thailand, Singapore and the Philipines also has been confirming such cases.

Yet, humans mobility is still at large. I guess there will be time that we can no longer be waiting at the gates of our borders. It will be a plague….Well, I hope not!

How we can stop this? Help!

Bali Part 3 : The enchanting Pura Tanah Lot

It has been described as the most beautiful temple in Bali, Pura Tanah Lot indeed gives us magnificient views surrounding it. One of the a few pura which has sea view and during high tide is magically floating on top of a small hill in between shore cliffs and the sea.

Trees provide shades to pilgrimages. During low tide people can enter the temple using this path. Less than half a foot of water rinses your feet symbolising to clean oneself before entering temple.

Bali Part 2 : Tirta Empul

The word tirta is based on sanskrit which means spring. Within the vicinity of the complex there are at least seven other spring. As the word spring itself, the tirta is a source of water which runs trough rivers then to the sea, giving life for thousands of Balinese. The water is clear and pure

Pilgrimage attended by the Balinese pray for their well-being, drinking the sacred water and bathing to purify oneself, and also give offerings. Tourists are allowed to join in but must adhere with the temple regulations. Tirta Empul is one of the best place to observe such importance of water in life.
